Osmanthus

The osmanthus is an evergreen shrub. Much of it is grown around the cities of Guilin and Hangzhou. It has an elegant fragrance suggesting secluded, far away places. People never tire of calling it the "flower whose perfume lingers in the air for nine miles around." Benefits: Osmanthus flower is effective for beautifying the skin, regulating internal toxins, relieving cough, reducing phlegm and maintaining healthy moist lungs. In summertime many people find their skin gets very dry or that their voice becomes husky from excessive internal heat.
